I bought a Travel Insurance from NTUC Income for my mum whom was away for holidays in Malaysia from 14 to 22 Dec 2007. She went to see the doctor at First World Clinic, Genting Highland on 20 Dec 2007 for her severe flu and paid RM120. Thereafter, she had a follow-up medical consultation in Singapore on 23 Dec 2007 and paid SGD66.
The claims were submitted on 24 Dec 2007 and the policyholder received the medical reimbursement via cheque on 29 Dec 2007. This is really wonderful.
Sometimes, i wonder why is it that everyone is telling me that it is so difficult to make a claim? Was it because you did not buy the right insurance plan or you do not know the know-how approach of filing a claim?
